Freight Orders

Freight deliveries require a delivery time be scheduled and someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the merchandise. A representative from the freight carrier will call the phone number entered at checkout to schedule the delivery.

Liftgate Service

For freight deliveries, you have the option of adding a liftgate to your delivery. A liftgate is the device that lowers a product from the truck to ground level.

CPO recommends adding liftgate service for freight deliveries exceeding 100 lbs if you do not have a loading dock or fork lift at the delivery address. Additional charges may apply. The liftgate option will be presented during the checkout process.

Please note that liftgate service only ensures the product is removed from the truck. We recommend you have the additional help of two to four people to move the product to its desired location because drivers are not required to assist.

Requesting liftgate service after ordering may result in additional charges and delays.

Great Product Smart Choice
This is a great product backed by a great name. This machine was easy to assemble and easy to move. The Noise level is quieter than expected, you can easily have a conversation without yelling at the guy standing next to you. I purchased this unit with no thought of using it with a 20 or 30 pound tank... I own a 120 gallon or 420 pound above ground tank. The local gas company came out and the service tech had everything i needed to make it work! I hook up to house using the 240 plug with transfer switch and it runs all the lights, tvs internet microwave in the house as well as ceiling fans, refrigerator and two window ac units i didnt try the central ac or water heater. but this unit is amazing and in southern Louisiana its so hard to get gas after a hurricane this is the answer to my problems biggest problem being no natural gas available.DONT HESITATE BUY THIS UNIT!!!

Unit has nice features, easy setup, well thoughtout, i like the lay down handle but it has two drawbacks 1. it should come with a power cord, 2. the price should be about $150 less. i would like to see a LP portable in 7500 watt.

Awesome home generator
I use this generator to power my home during power outages and on the occasional job site to run my table saw and air compressor
The biggest benefit of running LP gas is low maintenance! Unlike gasoline if the generator is not used for a length of time you don't have to worry about a gummed up carburetor, also LP burns cleaner making for fewer oil changes and it's generally better for the environment

# 1 generator in the 5500 watt size
30 amp 240 volt plug, easy to start and runs on propane , what more could you ask for.

Great Portable LP Generator
LP5500, just what I have been looking for. Propane Generator frees me from the expense of having to store large quantity of gasoline. I have a larger propane tank that can be connected when needed if the power is off longer than what a couple portable tanks would allow using the generator in emergencies or extended power outages. A removable clamp on front wheel and bracket using pit pins would allow easier movement of the generator. The rear wheels were easy to attach and generator started on the second pull. Power control wheel is a great feature

I like this generator very much. The portable propane fuel makes this generator very versatile. The generator starts up consistently when the directions for starting are followed. My only wish would be for a battery starting option for those that don't have the strength to pull start.

Love the LP option over Gas
Chose this mainly because I no longer wanted to deal with the problem of gas gumming up my carbs. Liked the ability to store the propane for, well... basically forever where as gas has a shelf life. Also found it far safer to store the propane which is readily available in my area. Glad I made this choice.

First power outage today - generator worked just fine
Bought this unit a little over 1 yr ago - had a manual transfer switch installed by a local electrician. The unit started right up ( 2-3 pulls) when I first got delivery and ran it several times after that - very simple starting process.

Winter of 2014/15 went to start the unit before a forecast snow storm and it wouldn't start !! - no matter what I did -- called Generac support line - first thing they asked is where I lived (northern NJ - temp low teens) - 2nd question - what weight oil was I using - I said the oil that was included (30W) - next step - change the oil to 5w30 synth - bingo! - started right up (3 pulls) . btw - oil info is in the owners manual....

Anyway - today - local power outage - after an hour or so decided to go through the drill - unit started right up (3 pulls) - went through the process to switch between the elec panel and the generator - all was well - gas furnace working - frig ok - watch some tv - wife finished using washing machine - made some coffee - - 2 hrs later street power back on - switch everything back - ready for the next one.

The only mystery is the instruction on "stopping the engine" - "...shut off all loads...never start or stop the engine with electrical devices plugged in or turned on..." my question - what happens when a propane tank runs out of fuel (at 3AM) ?? Short of trying to "guestimate" when a tank will run dry - not sure the best way to handle swapping out tanks.??

Very powerful
I have 3700 feet under roof and have not given up a thing with this unit running the whole house. I does not like cold weather. At 10F it would not start. I had to bring it into the house to warm up before it would restart after a run to fill tanks. Very noisey. I was hoping to connect it to my house tank but can't. The unit requires 30-100psi in. No regulator just straight to the carb. A one hundred pound tank and two 30s gives me 72 hours of run time. About 35 gallons of propane.
